SUMMER CAMP ANNOUNCEMENT
The Varsity and JV teams will be attending the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Team Football Camp this summer. FCA is well known as a Christian-oriented sports organization. This year their theme for Football Camp is UNLEASH THE POWER! It looks to be a great time of "inspiration and perspiration" for our teams to come together before the season begins and get some advanced training, both physically and spiritually. Although Camp is not mandatory, we are STRONGLY ENCOURAGING every member of the team (both returning and new football players) to sign up for camp this year.
CAMP DATES:
VARSITY/JV - July 22-24 (Thursday-Saturday)
LOCATION: University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA.
Fee includes transportation, lodging and meals for 2 days and 1 nights-FCA Team Camp T-shirt, Bible, Lanyard, and coaches notebook. Coaches will be attending the camp with the players. •
CAMP ACTIVITIES: “7 on 7” Team Passing Camp (8-10 games MS, 10+ games Varsity, Team Time) during the day. Lineman Camp (skill development, competition, team time) during the day. Morning chapel and evening meetings with music & speakers. DEADLINE FOR CAMP
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 1, 2010. All players must register on line. You may pay on line with a credit card or mail your check (payable to Crown Athletics & write “camp fee” in the memo line), to David Knowles, 410 Acorn Drive, Canton, GA 30114.
WHAT TO BRING: Helmet (provided by Crown Athletics), cleats, pen, notepad, athletic clothes, casual clothes, sheets, blanket/sleeping bag, pillow, towels, soap, extra cash for snacks and FCA stuff.
TRANSPORTATION: We will travel as a team by bus. Further details TBA.
