The 2009/2010 inaugural season for The Crown Wrestling team was a great success. Middle and High School boys enjoyed learning the fundamentals of wrestling, being a part of a team, and got to see many of their teammates win matches at several wrestling tournaments.
It is time to start planning for the 2010/2011 season. For information on the upcoming season, please attend a Parent Meeting at The King’s Academy, 471 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188 on Saturday, August 21 at 10:00. FEE INFORMATION:
The registration fee is $390.00 per wrestler.
The first payment of $190 is due at registration on September 3rd. The remaining balance will be due November 1st.
You may pay in full on line with a credit card or mail in your installment checks to Debra Graham, 337 Jesse Martin Trail, Canton, GA 30115. All checks should be made payable to Crown Athletics. Please put "Wrestling Reg." in the memo line.
CONDITIONING & PRACTICES:
Wrestling conditioning and techniques training begins on September 7th and will extend until mid-February. We are renting practice sace at the BodyPlex Fitness facility next to Big Lots located at 8811 Georgia Highway 92 in Woodstock. The team will condition and practice together from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wrestling conditioning will include strength, stamina, and flexibility exercises. Wrestling techniques training will teach wrestling concepts, rmoves and strategy to win matches.
