Cost for the 2012 Fall Season will be $145 ($235 if you live outside of Gwinnett County). Gwinnett County charges each out of county registration $90, and they verify this information based on the address you register with. The Grayson Athletic Association's Baseball Program is excited to announce registration for its 2012 Fall Baseball Season for children ages 4 - 18 years of age. Online registration will be available until July 31st for baseball. When signing up online please make sure that the information you have submitted is correct and that you are signing up for the right sport!
When determining which age group your child will be in, determine the age your child will be on April 30th of 2013 with the exception of 4 year olds. The minimum age requirement for baseball at GAA is 4 years of age. Your child must be four years old prior to July 31st, 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS. An age verification process will take place.
Parents will be responsible to make sure that you have placed your child in the right age group. Parents wishing to play their child UP in the next age group will need to have approval from the Baseball Director prior to completing the registration process. Noplayer will be allowed to play down from their age group.
Tentatively the regular season is scheduled to start on or about August 25th and end by October 13th. Post season play will begin on October 15th and be finished by October 30th.
We will schedule 12 regular season games to play 10, in order to get a Single Elimination Tournament in before October 30th.
Tryouts will be on August 4th, 2012 starting at 10 am. See below for the tryout schedule as some age groups might not start at 10 am. Have your child bring a glove, bat andbatting helmet to the tryout process.
TeeBall Ages (4,5 & 6): Field 8 at 10 am
PeeWee: Ages (7 & 8): Field 7 at 10 am
Minors Ages (9 & 10): Field 2 at 10 am
Majors: Ages (11 & 12) Field 3 at 10 am
Pony: Ages (13 & 14) Field 1 at 10 am
Senior League Ages (15 thru 18) TBA
