More details:
In-person camps (small, highly modified, predominately outside) will strategize highly-engaging hands-on activities that work well with social distancing and sanitation. Sample activities are K’nex spinners, Mentos and Diet Coke fountains, penny boats, marbled paper, cloud dough, quick-grow crystals, egg drop challenge, lava lamps, and cloud dough.
Campers will wear a mask except when they are eating; masks must be worn at all other times. We have regular times for handwashing scheduled throughout the day and will reinforce distancing, especially during lunch/snack. This camp is only appropriate for campers who are willing to make the following COVID-19 modifications with support from our staff: wear their mask consistently, wash their hands regularly, spend much of the day outside, and maintain social distancing. We will be outside as much as possible however the daily weather will dictate our decisions so families who attend will need to be flexible. Campers should dress appropriately including thermal base layers in cold weather. Camp must meet minimum enrollment.
