** RULES FOR FOOTBALL PARTICIPATION**
Any player who registers to play with the City of Jefferson Recreation Department must either live inside the City Limits of Jefferson and/or attend the JEFFERSON CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM.
If participants live OUTSIDE the City Limits but they do attend the Jefferson City School System- please be able to present proof of school registration.
If you answer "NO" to BOTH questions- DO NOT proceed with registration. The NGYFA football program eligibility is only for residents within such district and/or those that attend the school system they are playing for.
Registration dates: April 15th through May 31st, 2024
Registration Fee: $150* (add $50 for non-city resident whose child attends Jefferson City Schools) *$175 after May 31st if spaces are available ($50 additional for non-city residents).
Ages: 7U thru 7th Grade
The 7th Grade program will also have "Weight & Strength" training twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm at the JHS Arena. The start date is the week of June 6/8th (The summer weight and strength trainings are mandatory to play 7th Grade Football).

Evaluations: Date and Times that week will be determine and advertised after the final registration numbers are tallied the day after registration closes.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Helmet and shoulder pads* (to be returned at the end of the season) and Full sublimated reversible game jersey.
Parents must provide game pants. Wait to make this purchase, as your team will decide on color and style.
Age control date is August 1, 2024. If you would like for your child to play one age division higher, please contact the Rec Department when registering. You cannot register to play up online. It must be done manually by a recreation representative. 6-year-olds are not allowed to play up. The 7 Age Division is designed and reserved for only 7-year-olds.
UNIFORM FITTING PROCEDURES: Your coach will contact you with specific day and time. You will be required to enter a jersey size when going through the registration process, and this if b/c if you are unable to attend fittings the week of TBA, we will at least have a jersey size to order for you.
NEW Important Policy:
EQUIPMENT PICK UP PROCEDURES: In order to receive your helmet and shoulder pads, we need a copy of your player's birth-certificate. No Exceptions. If you do not hand in a copy of your player's birth certificate, then no equipment will be handed out at that time. (If you played last season, 2023 then you do not need to provide one).
